DAN RASMUSSEN
FOUNDER, PORTFOLIO MANAGER
Daniel Rasmussen is the founder and managing partner of Verdad Advisers, an investment firm with over $1 billion in assets under management across multiple asset classes. He is the author of The Humble Investor (2025) and American Uprising (2011), and his investment research has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times, Institutional Investor, and several volumes of The Best Investment Writing.
Dan serves as Chairman of the Investment Committee at Plymouth Rock Companies and as deputy chair of the Investment Committee for the Trustees of Donations of the Episcopal Church. Prior to founding Verdad, he worked at Bain Capital Private Equity and Bridgewater Associates.
He holds an AB from Harvard College, where he graduated summa cum laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
