Anton Wintner, M.D. is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Brown University. He previously served as the Vice-Chairman for Education and Residency Program Director at Massachusetts General Hospital, Department of Urology. He completed his postgraduate residency training in urology at Massachusetts General Hospital and subspecialty fellowship training at Duke University specializing in Surgical Prosthetics and Cancer Survivorship. Prior to joining Verdad, Anton focused on translational research in the areas of photodynamic therapy, microfluidics and surgical prosthetics. He is the author of multiple textbook chapters and peer reviewed publications in both adult and pediatric urology. He earned his AB in philosophy from Harvard College, where he was a member of the Varsity Crew team. He earned his M.D. from Jefferson Medical College (now Sidney Kimmel Medical College).
