Dan Rasmussen
Founder, Portfolio Manager
Before starting Verdad, Dan worked at Bain Capital and Bridgewater Associates. Dan earned an AB from Harvard College summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He is the New York Times bestselling author of American Uprising: The Untold Story of America’s Largest Slave Revolt. In 2017, he was named to the Forbes 30 under 30 list.

Nick Schmitz
Partner, Portfolio Manager
Before joining Verdad, Nick worked at Goldman Sachs.  He earned a BA from the US Naval Academy, a Masters of Philosophy from Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar, and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Nick served as a Captain in the Marine Corps in Afghanistan and taught at the US Naval Academy. He has completed language immersion in Tokyo and worked at the Japanese Defense Academy in Yokosuka. Nick has published academic articles on constitutional law and testified before Congress on his research.

Brian Chingono
Partner, Director of Quantitative Research & Europe Portfolio Manager
Before joining Verdad, Brian worked at Dimensional Fund Advisors and Credit Suisse. Brian earned an AB from Harvard College and an MBA with honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. As a graduate student, Brian co-authored two research papers related to Verdad’s investment strategy: Leveraged Small Value Equities and Forecasting Debt Paydown Among Leveraged Equities.

Greg Obenshain
Partner, Director of Credit
Before joining Verdad, Greg worked as the high yield portfolio manager at Apollo Global Management and Stone Tower Capital. He began his corporate credit career in GE’s Energy Financial Group where he completed the two-year Commercial Leadership Program. Greg earned a BA from Dartmouth College cum laude and an MBA from the Northwestern Kellogg School of Management where he graduated Beta Gamma Sigma (top 10%).

Graham Infinger
Partner, Director of Strategy & Head of Client Partnerships
Before joining Verdad, Graham worked at Crescent Capital where he was a Vice President based in London and Los Angeles. Prior to Crescent, he worked at Bain Capital Private Equity and the management consultancy Booz & Company (now Strategy&). Graham earned an AB in economics from Harvard College where he was on the Harvard Varsity Track & Field team and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management where he was a Brown Distinguished Private Equity and Alternatives Fellow and an Anderson Merit Fellow.
